Slides: Understanding Feelings

This set of 30 interactive slides helps children understand and recognize their own feelings and the feelings of others, using a neuro-affirming, child-first approach. Through real-world examples of facial expressions and body language, kids learn to identify emotions like happiness, sadness, anger, and more. The slides also explain why recognizing emotions in others is important for creating safe, respectful spaces. Interactive activities support emotional awareness, empathy, and social skills, helping children respond thoughtfully to their feelings and the feelings of those around them.
