Raising Brain is a secular, nature-based microschool for homeschool families seeking more than academics, families who value connection, creativity, and calm.

Founded in 2024 as a summer camp, Raising Brain has grown into a year-round community that celebrates nature, emotional growth, and the joy of childhood.

Our approach blends the rhythms of nature with mindful use of technology, helping children find balance in a fast-paced world. Through outdoor exploration and hands-on projects, learners build confidence, empathy, and curiosity that last a lifetime.

Director Ashley Bobst, a nurse certified in Neurodiversity-Affirming Practice and Health & Wellness Coaching, is also a neurodivergent parent and homeschools her 2 children. She created Raising Brain as a space where every child, and every parent, feels seen, supported, and empowered.
