Friday Gamer Nature Club Culpeper, Virginia Last Friday of the month| 4–7 PM | Drop-off
Rooted Realms is a relaxed hangout club for middle and high schoolers to connect, unwind, and just be themselves. Originally designed as a safe space for video gaming, with multiple consoles and plenty of collaborative games, the group has grown into something even better... Most days, you’ll find members gathered around the schoolhouse kitchen snacking on healthy treats, laughing through karaoke, or chatting about their latest interests.
When things feel a little too lively inside, the adventure moves outdoors. Our cozy, wooded playground offers swings, a slackline, a big-kid fort, and space to explore or relax. Some like to grab a picnic blanket to play cards or share snacks, while others head to the pickleball court or join in a nighttime flashlight nature walk in the cooler months.
Rooted Realms gives tweens/teens the freedom to choose how they spend their time, whether gaming, exploring, or simply hanging out, while building social skills, collaboration, self-awareness, and independence in a supportive, neuro-affirming environment.
We provide healthy snacks, multiple TVs, Nintendo Switch (2), an Arcade1Up game table, and board games. They are welcome to bring their own games and snacks. Due to allergies, we are a peanut-free club.
Rooted Realms will meet every last Friday of each month throughout the year at our campus in Amissville, Virginia.
All programs at Raising Brain are proudly secular and inclusive. We welcome all students and families, regardless of race, religion, gender, identity, or background. Our community is built on respect, belonging, and the belief that every child deserves a safe space to grow, learn, and connect.
