Our microschool is nestled at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Amissville, Virginia, just 15 minutes from Warrenton, Culpeper, and Sperryville and 30 minutes from Front Royal. Our campus offers a unique and enriching learning environment where nature and education come together in harmony.

Our ten‑acre property features walking trails that wind through native woodlands, offering daily opportunities for exploration and quiet reflection. Two clear creeks run through the land, one fed by an underground spring and the other flowing down from Chester Gap on its way to the Rappahannock River. Both creeks open onto gentle beach areas of sand and pebbles, perfect for outdoor lunches, reading under the sun, and open‑air art sessions. Children can wade and cool off in the creek during warm months, deepening their sensory connection to the world around them.

Wildlife abounds, from songbirds and deer to frogs and butterflies. A vernal pond appears each spring, offering seasonal wonders and ecological learning experiences. We have created an outdoor classroom where hands‑on discovery fosters a deep appreciation for the natural environment.
