Join our Future City After-School Club, a hands-on STEM experience for aspiring engineers, designers, and changemakers! We’re forming two teams: one for middle school and one for high school students. Meetings will start on August 7th, bi-weekly on Thursdays from 3:45–5:45 PM  (later arrivals are welcome!) and run through January. They may also choose to meet more frequently or extend meeting times as the competition approaches and project work intensifies.

Students will collaborate to design and build a model city set 100 years in the future, tackling real-world challenges like sustainability, infrastructure, and public policy, this year's theme is "Farm to Table". Along the way, they'll develop skills in teamwork, research, engineering, budgeting, project management, and public speaking.

Our regional competition takes place in January 2025 at the Museum of Industry in Baltimore, Maryland. Teams that advance to Nationals will compete in Washington, D.C. (Dates TBD and will be updated here).
