Extracurricular/Club Guidelines
Our extracurricular activities and clubs offer joyful, interest-based opportunities for students to explore, connect, and grow. Programs focus on hands-on experiences, creativity, and social connection. We are committed to creating neuro-inclusive spaces where all children feel safe, respected, and supported. Our staff is trained in inclusive practices, and we welcome input from families to help each child thrive.
Respect & Inclusion
-
Be kind and inclusive, everyone belongs here.
-
We celebrate the diversity of how people think, feel, communicate, and engage with the world.
Fair Play & Sportsmanship
-
Win or lose, we practice good and supportive sportsmanship.
-
Take turns, follow game rules, and keep play fair.
-
Celebrate effort and teamwork as much as winning.
Personal Space & Boundaries
-
Personal space is important and looks different for everyone. Always ask before entering someone’s space or handling their things.
-
We all have different comfort levels, and only engage in physical interaction when it’s part of the game and welcomed by others.
Communication & Conflict
-
Use words or other communication tools to express yourself kindly; every way of communicating is valid.
-
If a conflict arises, ask a game coach for support, we're here to help.
-
No teasing, name-calling, or exclusion of any kind.
Shared Equipment & Devices
-
Take care of all shared consoles, tables, and controllers.
-
Bringing your own device? Please use it respectfully and follow staff guidance.
-
To help create a safe, focused, and community-centered environment, we do not allow unsupervised internet browsing or YouTube use during club time. This helps reduce exposure to inappropriate content, distractions, and overstimulation, and encourages connection through shared games and activities
-
We balance screen time with other kinds of engagement, some activities will include outdoor exploration or unplugged play to support regulation, connection, and variety.
Transition & Nature Time
-
We end some classes with a nature-based cool-down, which might look like a peaceful nighttime trail walk, hanging out in the garden play area, basketball or ping pong on the patio.
-
Use this time to relax, reconnect, and wind down from screen time.
Food & Drink
-
For some clubs food and drinks are provided, this will be mentioned in the description for that activity.
-
If food is not provided, you are welcome to bring your own, we ask that you don't pack peanuts, as we are a peanut-free facility.
-
Let us know about any allergies or dietary needs on the registration form.
Our Commitment
We are here to support every child with respect, curiosity, and care. We create space for all learners and players to feel safe, empowered, and understood.
